Individualized treatment to meet your needs & goals

We Are Different

We understand that many of our patients’ symptoms are chronic and they may have felt unheard or dismissed by other healthcare providers. We don’t ignore pain or push symptoms under the rug, and we don’t quit. We work with our patients to develop treatment road maps tailored to their unique diagnosis, needs and goals.

Our mission is to provide our patients with effective, holistic treatments and compassionate care so that they can return to the lives and activities they love.

In addition to acupuncture, we offer a number of other in-office complimentary therapies which may help speed your healing.

We are the only clinic in Ohio which offers some of these treatments.

Patrick Glow Pat

Patrick (Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy)

Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF) is a rapid, non-invasive, and non-drug approach to healing, pain management and performance enhancement. PEMF therapy delivers bursts of extremely low, frequency-specific electromagnetic fields to the body which are thought to stimulate tissue repair and support a return to optimal performance. These electromagnetic fields are complementary to the body’s natural functions and can produce a wide range of therapeutic effects.
PEMF therapy may be used in conjunction with acupuncture for improved healing results for the following conditions:

  • Pain management
  • Wound healing
  • Healing bone fractures (PEMF therapy is FDA approved for healing nonunion bone fractures)
  • Reducing headaches
  • Reducing time in between training sessions (faster recovery means opportunity to train)
  • Reducing inflammation
  • Reducing swelling
  • Improving circulation

Ozone Therapy

Medical ozone is produced on-demand in our clinic using an ozone generator. Ozone has been used in medicine for over 100 years and volumes of research have demonstrated that it can be useful in treating a myriad of pathologies. Transcutaneous O3 gas baths and insufflations make use of the antiseptic and disinfecting properties of ozone, and have been use in local applications for the treatment of external wounds, while ozonated water is taken orally or applied as a spray or compress. Ozone may help in the treatment of:

  • Viral diseases
  • GI disorders
  • Wounds and infections
  • Circulatory disorders
  • Macular degeneration
  • Rheumatism/arthritis

Dry Needling

Also known as trigger point dry needling and intramuscular stimulation. Dry needling is used to treat muscle pain, myofascial trigger points, connective tissue and neural ailments. Dry needling is commonly used for muscular and sports-related issues and may be used in conjunction with acupuncture to treat:

  • Joint problems
  • Disk problems
  • Tendonitis
  • Migraine and tension-type headaches
  • Jaw and mouth problems (such as temporomandibular joint disorders or TMD)
  • Repetitive motion disorders (like carpal tunnel syndrome)
  • Spinal problems
  • Pelvic pain
  • Night cramps
  • Phantom pain
  • Whiplash
  • Post-herpetic neuralgia (pain left behind by shingles)

Frequency-specific microcurrent (FSM) Therapy

Similar to Patrick, FSM therapy delivers low-level electrical currents to specific parts of the body using painless dermal patches. FSM therapy is non-invasive and is used to treat nerve and muscle pain, repair tissue, and reduce inflammation. During treatment, a special device delivers mild electrical currents to targeted parts of the body to induce natural healing. According to the Cleveland Clinic, FSM therapy can increase the production of ATP, a major source of cellular energy, in injured tissues by up to 500%, thus speeding the body’s return to natural functioning. When used with acupuncture, FSM therapy can help treat:

  • Wounds
  • Acute (sudden) and chronic (long-term) musculoskeletal injuries
  • Acute and chronic neuropathic (nerve) pain
  • Arthritis
  • Burns
  • Kidney stones
  • Asthma
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Headaches
